About the Role
- Manage and deploy new and ongoing data center sites within your region, owning the action plan for each build from kickoff through delivery.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across the business in your region, with Project Management, Program Management, and Regional Data Center Managers as your closest partners.
- Sync daily with on-site Tiger Team Build Leads to assist where needed, resolve blockers, and escalate issues immediately so builds stay on schedule.
- Set weekly goals and daily plans of action for Build Leads, including contingency plans when site conditions change.
- Attend weekly capacity meetings and build sync meetings, capture updates relevant to your region, and relay them to your build leads on regional calls.
- Maintain high visibility in build communication channels to support the boots-on-the-ground team, who often have limited connectivity during active builds.
- Partner with Procurement and inventory teams on inbound and outbound shipments, keeping the BOM current and immediately reporting short, damaged, or missing gear.
- Assess staffing needs weekly and adjust team coverage across sites; coordinate headcount requirements with the Project Coordinator.
- Own and maintain the Tiger Team site trackers, completing weekly updates to prepare for the following week.
- Travel to sites in your region to provide hands-on support and make on-the-ground decisions to pivot or push a build.
- Advance and enforce data center standards, and develop and implement site-specific build documentation.
- Cultivate and maintain vendor and colocation partner relationships.
- Formulate efficiency strategies to ensure the timely completion of projects, and provide progress reports on builds to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure site compliance with local safety standards, regulations, and internal policies, and foster a positive safety culture through communication, accountability, training, and reporting.
- Lead weekly toolbox talks and create training sessions to grow team knowledge across data center operations, power, networking, hardware, and fiber.
- Conduct regular 1:1s with all team members, document feedback, and build personal and career development plans that grow your technicians technically and professionally.
- Provide consistent, direct communication when performance or CoreWeave core values are not met, partnering with HR when further action is required.
- Comply with training protocols established by the Global Alignment Team and uphold CoreWeave values at all regional sites.
